The owners also provide a children’s welcome pack with age-dependent DVDs, books, and toys. An adult welcome pack is also provided for the parents.

mite villaMite Villa is located close to a huge range of attractions. Why not start off your holiday with a trip on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway?Locally known as the La’al Ratty, this miniature steam railway runs for several miles across beautiful countryside and along two valleys at the foot of England’s highest mountains. Alight at the coast in Ravenglass and enjoy some fish and chips in the pretty village before hopping back on the train for your return jothe zip and link double bedurney. Kids will love the La’al Ratty at any time, but there are also a number of special events throughout the year including a ‘Teddies go Free’ day, ‘Young Engineers Day Out’, ‘Halloween Ghost Trains’, and the ever-popular ‘Santa Express.’

Muncaster Castle offers an array of delights for all the family. One of the biggest attractions in the southwestern Lake District, the castle is set in a 77-acre estate in a stunning location with panoramic views over the fells, river, and valley. Why not explore the beautiful gardens with its daffodils, bluebells, azaleas, bamboo, and a host of other weird and wonderful plants and flowers? Kids will also love the Hawk & Owl Centre, which hosts a mix of uncommon and protected owls and birds of prey. Don’t forget to catch one of the flying displays by the Hawk Conservancy Trust, reputed for having one of the best flying displays in the country. As if that’s not enough, the castle is steeped in history and there are lots of family-friendly events taking place throughout the the children playareayear.
