Summer fun in Suffolk just got bigger and wetter, with the launch of a brand-new inflatable Aqua Park at Alton Water near Ipswich.
Launching on Saturday 7 July 2018, Aqua Park Suffolk measures more than 8000 square meters and features a staggering 72 obstacles, set to make it the largest Aqua Park to splash down in the UK this summer.
Open for just nine weeks over the summer, this awesome adventure course provides an action-packed experience for all, from active kids and their families to super fitness fans. Plus, with a wide range of climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and the UK’s biggest jumps and slides, there’s sure to be plenty of potential for epic fails and total wipeouts.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get wet and wild on obstacles such as the Jungle Jim, Walk on Water, Freefall Extreme, Thunderdome, Blast, Monkey Dome, Summit and Supertramp a large octagonal trampoline, making Aqua Park Suffolk one of the most entertaining ways to enjoy the Great British outdoors this summertime, whatever the weather!
Richard Drinkwater, Co-Founder of Aqua Park Suffolk comments:
“Following the successful launch of our first Aqua Park in Rutland & Leicestershire three years ago, we are excited to now bring the same awesome experience to Suffolk. Aqua Park Suffolk is a great reason to get active outdoors this summer, not to mention helping to ease school holiday cabin fever. I would advise booking early to avoid disappointment, and although we can’t promise this summer will be a sizzler, we can guarantee Aqua Park Suffolk will serve up a super soaking, fun day out for all.”
Created and designed by sports activity management specialists Aqua Parks Group Limited, Aqua Park Suffolk has been developed in close consultation with Anglian Water who own and operate Alton Water.
Tickets for the park are priced at £20 for a 50-minute session and can be booked here.
As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Suffolk need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged eight and over, 1.3m tall and able to swim 50 meters unaided in a buoyancy vest to take part. Buoyancy vests are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.
