St Margaret's park offers a choice of quality holiday accommodation set in the heart of Cornwall. Twenty-nine self catering holiday lodges and superbly restored 18th Century Engine House nestle in six acres of peaceful parkland with a meandering steam running through the park. Our range of detached lodges offer character accommodation in the range of sizes and prices. Our smaller lodges offer individual character with a variety of different layouts. Some are set on the slopes with a path or steps to reach them. This adds to their charm and seclusion but of course may not be suitable for everyone. All lodges have outside furniture to allow you to enjoy the fine weather. Dogs are welcomed in certain lodges providing they are kept on leads in the park and exercised in the designated walking area.
This family run park is perfectly positioned for visiting The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and exploring the sandy beaches, quiet coves and historic harbours with abound on Cornwall's gentle south coast.

For the elderly simply to sit in the sun or walk quietly through the park is often as important a part of the holiday as the trip to the beach or visits to local places of interest. Children enjoy the natural setting and freedom that most parents feel able to give them. On the far bank of the stream there is a small playing field with football posts, outdoor badminton and activity equipment for younger children. There is also a selection of garden games for you to enjoy - Noughts and Crosses, Giant Jenga, Giant Draughs, Giant Connect Four and Giant Dominoes.
On the park is a small launderette with coin operated machines and free book and games library. As resident owners we are available for help and assistance when needed.
You are welcome to borrow books from the library in reception - these include local maps, walk books and local history books. There is also a variety of toys and indoor & outdoor games for you to use.
We do not have a restaurant or bar on site but within 500 yards is the local village shop and post office and the Polgooth Inn. The Polgooth Inn serves food all day and there is a dining room as well as a family room, with outside tables ideal for young families - dogs welcome. The village post office and general store sell newspapers, fresh bread, lottery tickets and fresh local produce. You can also order your groceries to be waiting for you in your lodge upon arrival. A mile away is the Kingswood Bar and Restaurant offering relaxed bistro style dining.
