Caerphilly boasts the famous castle, which was built in the 13th Century and was the site of conflict between Normans and the Welsh. Comedian Tommy Cooper, boxer Joe Calzaghe and the Manic Street Preachers are just some of the famous people who hail from the area.

With stunning landscape and unrivalled views, the area is popular with walkers and cyclists looking to explore the rugged Welsh countryside.

• Entry to the festival is free.

• 2 for 1 entry to the castle on Saturday 12th May only (normally £24.60 for a full-price family ticket).
