The UK’s top 10 most adventurous places to toast a glass of wine

To celebrate its partnership with the Discovery Channel, Trivento, the UK’s No.1 Malbec, has teamed up with global adventurer Kenton Cool to reveal their UK best micro adventures.
Britain is turning into a nation of adventurers according to the Discovery Channel, with 41% of adults saying they have a keen sense of adventure[1], and over 300,000 Brits taking part in activities such as mountain walking, rock climbing, and abseiling. We are watching more wilderness and wildlife expeditions than ever, and the appetite for adventure and the outdoors is soaring.  We are now seeking our very own micro adventures.
In the lead-up to the May bank holidays, the UK's No.1 Malbec from the famed Mendoza region and rugged Argentine Andes is celebrating its partnership with Discovery Channel by teaming up with leading adventure and wilderness guide Kenton Cool to reveal the UK's top 10 most adventurous destinations to toast the start of the summer. In doing so, Trivento is inspiring the nation to make their own bold discoveries.
Kenton (44), who lives in the Cotswolds with his wife and children, has climbed Everest 13 times, and spent his teenage years adventuring the wildest peaks and caves across the UK.  Kenton is passionate about everyday discoveries and believes that there is plenty to explore on your doorstep. His UK top ten most adventurous places to toast wine spans the breadth of the British isles, from Cheddar Gorge to the top of Ben Nevis, and the Brecon Beacons to Old Man of Hoy on the Orkney Islands.

"Adventure is what you make it, whether it’s the top of a mountain or your local park. The UK has some incredible scenery. A walk across the top of Cheddar Gorge on a summer’s evening is something rather special, and the view from the top of Ben Nevis is something that will stay with you for a lifetime. Whichever you choose from my top ten, a stunning view, good food and a bottle of wine are the ultimate reward." says Kenton.
