See Big Stars In Newcastle This Summer At Geordie Moor

North East music fans have the chance to enjoy a series of concerts with a star studded line-up this summer. Organised by events company, Geordie Moor, the concerts will take place over three consecutive evenings at Nuns Moor Park, Newcastle under a big top tent.

On Thursday 19 July, The Proms will welcome glamorous clubbing brand Miss Moneypenny’s to the stage, with the 60 piece Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra performing a number of house music classics. 

And on Friday, fans can see 90s euro-pop favourite The Vengaboys, known for their hits We Like To Party, Boom Boom Boom Boom and We’re Going to Ibiza, as well as a superstar pop group yet to be announced.

The Vengaboys enjoyed commercial success in the late 1990s. They are best known for their hit singles “We Like to Party”, “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” and “We’re Going to Ibiza” the latter two of which topped the charts. They have sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide. At the World Music Awards awarded Vengaboys have been awarded best-selling dance group.

Then, on Saturday 21, Jessie J will take to the stage, supported by former Girls Aloud member, Nadine Coyle.

Jessie J boasts an impressive string of top ten hits including Price Tag, Domino, Nobody’s Perfect and Bang Bang – which she collaborated on with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj and which See Big Stars In Newcastle This Summer At Geordie Moorwent multi-platinum worldwide. And she will be joined on the stage by pop starlet, Nadine Coyle, known for her successful music career as one fifth of girl group Girls Aloud, as well as her solo singles Insatiable, Go to Work and Girls on Fire.

Nadine Coyle rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud. With Girls Aloud, Nadine Coyle has been successful in achieving a string of 20 consecutive UK top ten singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and received nominations for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for “The Promise”.
