Days Out

Calling all board game enthusiasts, your nation needs you!

Games Championships

The award winning Board Games Championships is back after its success last year to reinforce the traditional pastime in a technology-led Britain.

Despite the growth of modern gaming technology such as consoles and tablets, board games have seen a new lease of life in recent times with statistics revealing almost a 40% rise in purchases of traditional games.

The 2017 National Board Games Championship is the brain child of the UK’s leading pork pie manufacturer Pork Farms.  Pork Farms  is running the championship in partnership with the Micropub Association, the organisation which promotes small independent pubs who offer a ‘back-to-basics’ ethos that encourages good conversation and no technology in its venues.
