Eat and drink your way through Galloway Country Fair

Galloway Country Fair

Every year Galloway Country Fair delivers exceptional food and drink, and this year the Fair will continue to excite visitors’ taste buds.

With 30 food and drink exhibitors and more than ten caterers, the hardest choice for visitors will be choosing which to have. From selections of fine cheeses to meat pies, burgers and donuts, this year’s food options will showcase the best of what the region has to offer.

For the adults attending, there will be numerous drink exhibitors featuring gins, ciders, beer, whiskey and more.

Drumlanrig Castle hopes to capture the imagination of youngsters

Drumlanrig Castle

To celebrate the Year of Young People, Drumlanrig Castle in Scotland is set to introduce a wave of initiatives aimed at capturing the imaginations of youngsters this year.

Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate in Dumfries and Galloway will be focusing on bringing the Estates’ history, beautiful wildlife, scenery, and career opportunities to life for young people across Scotland.

The Estate has also partnered with the Historic Houses Association and Young Scot to offer Young Scot cardholders access for just £1. The scheme means members can visit the historic tourist attraction and explore its grand rooms as well as the vast Estate for a fraction of the entry fee.
