Commemorate war Heroes at Highclere Castle

Highclere Castle will host a weekend dedicated to the commemoration of the First World War and to fundraise for those who have served and serve today, following the discovery of wreckages in the grounds.

On 8th and 9th September Highclere Castle will welcome several thousand visitors to engage and raise money for UK and other countries’ veterans and charities including Combat Stress, RBL,  MSF, The Royal British Legion and homeless charities including Launchpad.

You’ll be in for a foodie delight as this beautiful Georgian town plays host to the annual Watercress Festival with a variety of fantastic family attractions and a wide range of mouth-watering watercress treats ranging from traditional soup and cakes, to watercress ice cream and watercress beer, even watercress flavoured gin.
